A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Can Am Spyder vs Harley Streetglide for Coast of Maine?

Boothbay! That is where my dad lives. Actually, Barters Island: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=trevett,+me&sll=37.509726,-95.712891&sspn=50.974076,114.257812&ie=UTF8&ll=43.900366,-69.652977&spn=0.091902,0.22316&z=13&iwloc=A It is nice riding up there...

    82-83 1100E rear rack fabrication

That rack on my old 1100E took me two years and a lot of money to buy. I don't know if you guys realize it, but it also has a backrest that can come on and off in a matter of seconds. IMHO, that rack fits the lines of the 82-83 1100E better than any other I have seen. I spent $150 on the friggin...

Can Am Spyder vs Harley Streetglide for Coast of Maine?

Personally, I would take the HD, if it has to be two wheels. But that is just me. I'd love to ride a Spyder some day, it would be fun for a day, but I think it would get old quick. I ride a snowmobile all winter long, so I don't need to go there. Some rental places have Mustang convertables, I'd...

    Never using BikeBandit again!

I hear ya. It means there is no customer service. None.

    Never using BikeBandit again!

Wow, garbage. I've never used Bike Bandit for anything other than OEM parts, and even then only if I didn't need them in a timely fashion. It has taken 3-6 weeks for an order of mine to get processed. Sorry about such a crap experience, duly noted!

    Airflow to carbs?

Personally, I never liked aftermarket pods. I went to great lengths to bring my bike back to stock. I never was able to make pod filters run absolutely perfect, and that is unacceptable to me. That said, I never heard of how your legs are against the bike to affect the way the pods run. I see...

    Air Jet in CV carbs

Ok, we need to establish that you and I are on the same page about an air jet. In my mind, an air jet is not something that is adjustable without replacing it with another jet. You may be talking about the air mixture screws. There are four of them on top of the carbs as you are looking down...

Ummm, pretty sure they have the same, cheap Suzuki bullet connectors on both sides. You could plug them in reverse- I think.

I'm a Pingel fan. Once you have one, you realize how worth it they are.

    Laying it down?

These people are insane. You should stop communicating with them as soon as possible so that their foolishness, stupidity and lack of common sense doesn't seep into your head. Just looking out for you, as stupidity can be contagious. Laying it down is the same exact thing as an accident. No...

    Looking for Heated Vest Reviews

Funny, I have the Tour Master and it's been flawless. Love it. I will agree that Tour Master is crap for customer loyalty. I called looking for a replacement panel for my Flex jacket and was told I was out of luck. If I had to do it again I would probably go Areostitch. My buddy has their...

    Perhaps a new sticky thread???

Hmm, good idea, we could have a format, like: State(s): Specific Part of State(s): eg. Northeast NH Route Numbers: Description: Or something like that. I have a few I would contribute, there are definitely 2 or 3 roads in NH are that are above and beyond the rest as far as my riding style is...

It finally happened to me (CRASH)

I have a pair of them. I would rather crash in plain Levis then the Cortech jeans. The "leather" must me made from mouse skin as it is the thinnest leather I have ever seen/felt. Honestly, Levi 501 jeans are thicker than the jeans and leather sections of the Cortechs. And the knees pads don't...

Confused, bike runs in afternoon but wont start in the AM

Agree with Steve, if your valves haven't been adjusted start with that, then troubleshoot. It's pointless to even begin until the valvetrain is in spec.

    iridium spark plugs anyone?

If your engine is tuned well it shouldn't make much of a difference, but plugs last so long it certainly doesn't hurt to pay a few bucks more.
