    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

OK I attempted to look I did but ahhhh so many posts! All I was looking for was the list of current mods done and the list of future mods still to come. It seemed every page I would read had something new. So have you out together a web site I could visit? I really would like a list. I cant wait to see the end resault ooh it will be so cool.

You can see the old list on the ninth post down on page 15 of this thread. The plan hasn't varied much as far as the mechanicals go.

Good for you Mark :!:

Take your time and it's a piece of cake.

Who knows come winter you may want to tear it apart again to play with all those dodads inside the engine. That's what I do when I'm bored.

PS I don't think of it as a book, sounds more like a novel

Wow page 32 8O

Maybe we can start a pool, to see which page the project gets finished on :D :D

So how did you do last night Mark, we want a progress report

Well, good I guess. We didn't get to work on the head :? I was going to start on it but had a question right off about the welding and Joe didn't have time right then so I moved onto my smoothbores. Well when he was ready then I was up to my elbows in carb parts so just continued working on them.

They need done too so it is all progress. I took them home and am finishing them there though. Those suckers weight 1/2 of what my stock carbs do :?

Tonight I am going back out to work on the head.

I need advice from you guys "in the know" again. If you have followed this thread and know what mods I am doing. What ignition should I put in here? It has a really old Dyna in it right now and with the new coils I would like to put a newer more modern, maybe better Dyna ignition in it. What do you recommend and why? Part numbers?

Thanks guys. Your information has proved invaluable in the past and you all have helped shape the direction this bike is going in one way or another.
