A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Flatslides are great 'Trap. They were actually on my Cooley and will go back on once I get my smoothbores back from Bruce. I had sent him a set I had purchased off a board member but they ended up being buggered (basically to the point of being unuseable) so I picked up another set and they are on their way to him hopefully. Those flats were actually NIB purchased from a local guy I know. Never have cracked them open so I am unsure of jetting. I know they are perfect for the 1085 motor in the cooley.

Speaking of, what's your progress on your motor? Did you ever find the D port head?

I won a GS1100 D port head on Ebay but the seller dodgedude_97 has not contacted me since I won it back on May 25th. It was worth a shot, the seller has terrible feedback rating. I will get my money back eventually; the D port would have been better. Once I get that squared away I will need a set of Flatslides

Finally got the 29's that Bruce rebuilt and painted on the bike. Bruce had suggested satin black and I have to agree they look great on the bike. Oustanding job as always Bruce; you have my thanks.

Think I am done for now until it gets painted. Now do I stay with same scheme or go with the Yoshimura red/white scheme........

Looking great! I can't wait to get back to NY and put my GS1000 together. I got a nice guiliari seat like yours and a nice Bassani 4-1, smoothbores, raask rearsets, spoke wheels. The gas tank you sold me was the last piece I needed, thanks again.

So back together now. Really happy with the way the exhaust turned out. Still have a charging problem to figure out.

THIS is a Cooley Replica all you need now are "Yoshimura" decals on the tank.

Have you considered securing the Rr brake line to the caliper support bar? You could use some nylon wiring guides and zip ties. Take your time and it could look real clean.

Nice job dude!
