I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.
Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Returning Visitors
If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.
If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

More tank work, metal is bent and shaped, started welding the new pieces to the old. First piece, right side lower attached, filled a couple blow throughs then ground down.
The new parts
Have to use a heat sink, flat copper pipe where the new thicker metal joins the old thinner back bone, easy to blow thru the old stuff. These seams I'm button welding every few inches, then filling in with more overlapped buttons.

Still workin the tank, about ready to weld it all back together but getting ready to move so not much progress. The new place has a 38 x 18 heated and airconditioned shop - gonna be sweeeeeeet.
Got a heck of a nice seat assembly in the mail from morrison. Ordered a seat cover from tightfitseats in the uk with the correct pattern, it's absolutely gorgeous and very well made, I recommend them - was about 65 bux shipped and got it in 10 days.

So all moved in, bike is finally in the new shop, had lots of work over the winter. The tank is ready to be welded together. Have collected most of the needed parts over the past few months here and there.
Scored the paint, decided to go with the european red / white look. Should come together pretty quick now. I will post pics soon.

Going to do the black stripe in the white?I'm not,just don't look good IMHO.BTW I'd KILL for a heated shop.

Not sure about the black stripe just yet, I kinda don't care for it either. Yes you will have double disc's but I will have spokes, and spokes are sexy and make the bike go faster :dancing:

Couple partial mock up shots. Got the carbs torn down and soaking. Pistons pulled and cleaning up. Head is next for tear down.

Got the engine cases all cleaned and painted. The jugs are done, within spec and honed. Tank is done minus some body work here and there. Waiting on dynojet kit for the carbs but there all clean and ready, shooting for about 3 weeks from now to fire it up.

Finally finished the head. Had a heck of a time re-installing the valves as my pvc union tool kept breaking, found one that worked. All measurements on the head and valves were within specs. Media blasted the head and then re-assembled everything and sprayed a couple coats of paint on it.
Finished polishing the rear wheel and spokes, gonna install now with swing arm and then install lower engine half.

Got the carbs done. Dynojet 1/3 installed with new orings and a couple new springs as some were missing. Bottom half of engine is in. Swingarm and rear wheel installed with new sprocket and bearings. Got the brakes all tore down, calipers I had to heat up with mapp gas to pull the pistons. SS line material and fittings on order. Few more pics:

Posted in the parts wanted section. The needle shaft on my speedo is broken down inside the bushing. I need a 140 speedo, gage set or speedo internals please.
