DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

This one has me stumped:o my bike was running fine yesterday even earlier this morning but now i got no power whatsoever(no lights no nada) i know there is something not wired properly cause i noticed once in a while the gear indicator lights neutral light and brake and turn signal as well a the horn stop working all of a sudden. Anybody knows a colored wiring diagram i can download

Simple things first. Have you checked and /or replaced your fuses. Some old ones look OK but faulty. Let us know the results.

Download the factory service manual from BassCliff's site and check the wiring diagram

Look at the basics first - spark, air and fuel.

I would start at the battery and check for loose leads/bad connections.

Your bike loves a fully charged battery - start with a known base line and work forward from there.

I would look at fuses first then go to the wiring plug directly off of the ignition switch , and then the one for the gauges. pull them apart and clean them . put it back together and see what happens.

Yeah checked the fuses and even replaced all of them. Just to be sure tho from the top of the fuse box it goes 10 a 10a 10a 15a then another 10a?

Alright guys i replaced the first fuse and i guess they werent in fully or properly. Thanks so much we have juice and the lights (neutral and everything are back.

Did you check the battery ground wire? It sounds like something big like power from the battery or connection that carries power to the entire system. If its a short or a fuse somethings will work and some won't. Start at at the battery and work out.

I probably spoke to soon. I still got power but the neutral light and gear indicators are out again. :( dam anybody know what colors or where they are located? (also the oil pressure light is out to) scary...
