A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Sky, looks like a great start to a FAST bike.
I will certainly be following your build.
Curious as the why so long [6"] on the swinger. Strictly straight line use?

the lenght of the swinger with hopefully the hp i will get from the engine will be much needed, as this is my second 1100e build, the first one was six over as well and really didnt have many handling issues at all, Im really not trying to curve with the bike anyway, as far as straight line use only, I doubt it will ever see the track, maybe a few stop lights between them, or some interstate action, ALSO I beleive in order to do a six inch wide rear wheel you must have a longer swing arm?? stock length will only afford you to have a 5.5 wide wheel, is correct to my knollage. thank you for the nice comment on my machine.

Can't say on the Dakota... How about an Acewell? Memebers on another custom forum I belong to love them.
If you host you pics on Photobucket, ficker, or I use Webshots. You can load several of them on a post here. And at a decent size, instead of the thumbnails...
Just trying to help you out. And let you know I am watchin ;)
Awesome progress. Keep them coming!

Create an "album", up load your pics into it, Then you can add tags or just hit save and go to Album. There you will see a list of thumbnails of you photos. Click on one you want and it takes you to that pic. Now towards the bottom right, there will be a box "Link to this picture". Notice across the top of that box are clickable buttons of upload sizes, 100, 200, 425, 500, and what I use the 600. Click on the size you want (you can preview it) and the code for "Post in a forum" is the last code box. Copy that code and paste it here in your thread post. Will look something like this
Code:

Easy once you get the hang of it.
I'm hitting the sack now, but PM me if you need any help. I'll see it in the morning.
