A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

What is that swingarm and linkage set up off of? It looks like its not the same one that came with the bike in the early pictures but I am not sure.

Swingarm is from an 83 750 guessing e model. Shock I was told from a gsxr but I don't know for sure

made a mount for the red tank. its growing on me now.

yeah it is a bit longer that I'd thought, but I was kind of hoping to make it 2up since my wife does like to ride once in a while. but have a cover/cowl that goes over the seat.

That is a sweet looking stance. I love that tail. Keep it long, it's outrageous. And awesome.

Ok I think I've finished up the framework for the tail. May run one more brace triangularly in between the lower and upper main tubes. But I think it turned out good. Now I am going to need rear cowl/seat cover shape ideas. My plans were drawn out with the other tank and now that I switched tanks I need a new idea for cowl shape. Also played with the bars tonight. Definitely not using these for street use but they were fun to whip up in about 10 minutes for visual purposes.

Little picture update...

My grinder kicked the bucket tonight so I bolted on the headlight and mocked up the taillight. Not sure what its from but it looked different and a friend gave it to me.

Thats all for tonght, hopefully more tomorrow.

I'm digging that headlight cover. What year is that off of? I want one now :).

I gotta say man, you're build is one of my favorites on this site. Not high dollar, just a good ass build.

Thanks, that's the goal for the bike. Low budget but look cool.

I dont know the year of the headlightcover but will try to find out. It was just at a Harley swap meet.

Had to build the battery box mounting location so I can do the undertail cover piece to cover it up and make it look nice. And there is about half inch clearance from the bottom of the box and the shock gas chamber even though it looks like its sitting right on it.

After staring at the pictures I may try to shorten up the tail but It wont be by much if any. Guess just need a longer swingarm. haha. I dont think it looks terribly bad. doesn't stick out past the tire.

I glanced at the first-page images, then skipped to the end.

Wow. Things really turned around quick here, yeah?

Loving the way this is turning out.

Just to be clear, I skipped to the end to see where you were now and was shocked and the change that occurred, then went right back to the beginning to read the whole thing.
