I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

i got this bike when i was 16 it was in pieces so i set out to put it back together it originally had the 8 valve motor but it was in pieces and missing alot so i found a 16 valve motor to put in it the bike use to be an old drag bike so ima keep it that way i had it running and driving then i moved due the military so it has been sitting in the garage for about 4 years untouched i got tired of seeing it sitting there so it time to resurrect it and get it going again right now i am in converting it to efi using a megasquirt and homemade intake manifold the manifold isnt complete yet i still got to put in the injector bungs and make a fuel rail the bike is getting twin turbos the turbos i have are super small so i figure why not if it doesnt work well ill just convert it to single all the work i have done myself after i get it running ima pull it apart again and get everything powder coated and painted i want it to look nice again ill keep this updated as i progress with the project

It sounds like it will be a cool bike and it looks like you havve a good starting point. WHy did you decide to convert to EFI? Just out of curiousity.

my carburetors were shot and since i am turboing it i would like to have better control over fuel and timing so efi with the megasquirt is a cheap easy way to go

The good thing is that you will have lots of road to open it up out there well once you get off base that is unless you want to give the SPs something to get excited over

yea we got some room but its not street legal but i know the cops on base so i might take it out on base my wife is a cop on base so that helps alot

So what was the model with the stock engine and what is the engine now exactly?

it is a 79 gs750e the motor is out of a 81 750 i think i dont remember it was a while ago

Looks like one of my current projects; '79 gs750e

before pic;

wow thats kinda crazy yea im not keeping the yellow and black it use to be all yellow when i first got it the previous owner had it yellow with yo simity sam on it it was fn ugly ima prolly go with it all black with polished accent on the wheels and prolly polish the engine up

be aware that the 80-82 750 engines have a problem spinning the rod bearings even when stock.
adding a turbo or nitrous will guarantee rod bearing failure.
the 77-79 8 valve 750(kicker) engines on the other hand loves to be abused.
good luck with your project.

well my turbo flanges should be done on friday i work at a welding/ machine shop i am getting the guys to cut me some flanges on the laser cutter then ima get the turbos mounted and plumbed then i got to get some injectors and make my fuel rail and save up for the megasquirt also i got to get a new rear tire mine is shot

yes please fill me in the more information i can get the better i will be also where can i pull an oil feed line for the turbos from on the oil filter cover there is a sensor can i use that to feed the turbos

i have no clue how to shim anything on one of these as i ran and have always ran roller bearing engines.
although i have had several of these bearing eaters brought to me for valve adjustments...nope!
the pecking sound was a piston hitting the head.
my point is...
why would a person add 50+ horsepower to an already weak engine?
to many choices out there folks.....

alright i understand the engine i got isnt the best one but its all i got for now ima get it all done and running and if it blows it blows i ultimately want an 1100 engine for it but just no money for a new motor unless someone has one they want to give me lol:) until then im going to get this engine going and run it till it pops it isnt like ill be driving it everyday it might get rode once a month down the track a few times

alright i got a question can i put the 1100 or 1000 crank in the 750 cases and then put the 1100 block and head on i know the cases will need some cleaning up done to fit the bigger sleeves but will it all fit or no
