My GS is due for new tires, and while the tires are off the rims I'd like to have the rims powdercoated. A pic of my bike is below. The rims look okay in the pic, but it's just because they were still wet from washing the bike. The black accents are really just a dirty grey, and the aluminum bits are all corroded from being ridden in the rain, I guess.
So, my thoughts were:
1. Silver
2. A dark gold/bronze color, to match the front brake hats
3. media blasted with clear powdercoat
4. White
White sounds odd, but I've seen a few bikes pull it off. What do you think? the fender is going to be painted black as the chrome is rusting and looks like crap, so that would help with the white rims. I think the contrast might look decent...
