    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Here it is. Every nut and bolt has been replaced or restored on a 8900 mile bike. I need to synch the carbs and test the electrics. Aint she a beauty?

Yea, it is nice; pull it outside and get some nice pics to post :)

Why the question mark ? Obvious that thing is MINT ! You've out done yourself. Is that new paint ?

This has all original body and paint. No repaint. There a few very small touch-up spots on the side cases and front fender.

Looks great. I like the Yosh pipe. G.
I wrestled with whether to replace the pipes. I believe the Yoshi pipes make the bike MORE original. NOBODY kept the factory pipes. And it looks so much better with these pipes. Notice how Yoshimira matched the lines of the frame?

If you'd be willing to say I'd love to know what a full resto like that set you back. Phenomenal job.

Was never a fan when these came out, but man have they grown on me. Nice ride.

Absolutely drop-dead gorgeous, great job!! That's a definite BOM :)

Please create a picture album, I'd sure like to see more...

You should know . I agree. Between this one and Smokin's resto the Kat's should dominate BOM in the near future!

I tend to over do it so I definately over-spent. I bought the bike for $6k and probably dropped $3k and who knows how many hours making everything perfect. I am a sick puppy. I polish and clear coat every nut and bolt. I replace and rebuild everything that has rubber. Painted parts are all professionally powder-coated. This is therapy for me.

Beautiful work!! One question..... I was looking through your photos and noticed a great close-up of the engine. Looks as though you replaced all of the rubber spacers in the fins of the head, is this correct? Do I dare ask what purpose they serve? And, are they still available? I guess that was 3 questions...sorry.

Again, beautiful bike!
