Ok, I'm gonna try to keep a long story short. Bought this bike last year. It had been sitting in a garage for 9 years. So last year after I bought it I rebuilt the petcock, cleaned and lined the tank, dropped the carbs off to be cleaned and rebuilt. After like 4 months of the shop not being able to figure it out I bought a different rack of carbs, put in the rebuild kit, and syched em. The bike ran great (for the whopping 2 months I was able to) though she's mighty cold blooded. Now that riding season is once again upon us. I put new tires on, new chain, sprockets, new brakes, and new exhaust gaskets. Fired her up and she was cold blooded like usual but now for the problem. Cylinders #3 and #4 are firing and warm like they should, #1 and #2 are ice cold for a very long time (several minutes) and then pick up and stay running and all is good. It did this last year but I got my bike back from the shop so late in the season and WI gets pretty cold so I assumed thats why. But obviously not. She seems to be running lean. Compression in all are good, spark is there on all 4. I'm stuck. Any ideas would be helpful. I'm just confused as to why it eventually picks up. Itd be easier if they never fired. But they do but it takes forever and I think the bike could perform better once this is fixed??????
