I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.
Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Returning Visitors
If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.
If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Almost another month, time for another update.
I drew a template for the tray i want under the seat and had it laser cut
Then we bent it on the vise
it required some tweaking to fit but i like how it came out, all the electrics will be hidden inside under the seat.
I still need to grind the welds but i can do that myself (my welder charges by the hour ;-))
That concluded the welding part, the frame is back home and it's time to get it and all the other parts ready for blasting and powder coat.

Good stuff, should work out well! I assume you're not retaining the stock air box?
Also, don't forget to mount your R/R somewhere where it will get lots of air flow to help keep it cool...

I'm going with k&n for filters.
as for the r/r, i might put it on the underside of the tray so it will get lots of cooling

The frame and some parts were sent for blasting and powder coating.
I'm going to slowly assemble the bike starting with rebuilding the forks (new seals, bushings and progressive springs)
next week i'll get tires was only able to find metzlers ME22 front and ME77 Rear so it'l have to do.
the frame is getting new steering head bearings,new swingarm bearings, front and rear wheel bearings.
still need to source rear brake shoes before i can get to a rolling frame.

Swing arm bolts look like their sticking out quite far. Might be hard on the ankles.

Maybe it looks like this because i didn't use the large ugly passenger foot peg bracket.
the spacers are the same thickness and i used the same bolt as before

Can't you cut the bolt down, and make it more flush, then you wouldn't need the spacers ? Unless you plan going back to stock at some point in time....

Finally was able to find correct size tires, it wasn't easy and their ain't the style i was after but they will do until i'll able to get the right looking tires - i'm after more "Knobbe" look.

Little progress from today
Got new lining for the rear brake
the inner face were honed too
Installed new bearings, but used the old cush drive (it looks ok to me)
Also installed the shocks today
Partzilla split my order so i'm waiting for some small parts to finish the front fork, then the wheels and i'll have a rolling chasis.
