OK so here's the story
79 GS1000L, recent carb rebuild, brand new petcock. Losing fuel out #2 carb overflow. Rolling into the parking lot, I let off gas, couple seconds later here comes a little fuel on the ground. Sitting still, rev the motor briefly and let off, there drains #2.
"Thinking" that I've repeatedly read here (I can't find specific posts) this is a result of float set too high.
Also thinking that I read I can remove the float bowl without taking off the carbs. Obviously would like to avoid removing carburators if possible. Am I remember something I actually read or would this be another in a long series of delusions? :-#
I guess I'll need to invest in the float bowl plug hose deal.
Any confirmation or beat downs would be appreciated.
thanks
Rick
