A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

Mine is an IPhone 6s. The camera in it is far better then the Samsung S5 that preceded it. I could get some decent pics with the Android, but conditions had to be good and night shots were generally awful. I want to get a DSLR one of these days. I find the cellphone camera limiting..... but extremely convenient.

Made my first real long distance ride on the Bandit today heading out to Danville IL for a week long business trip. The first 25 miles of it was especially nice as Charmayne rode with me to Camden OH. When I turned left to continue onto Indiana, she rode back home by herself albeit followed by her mom in the car. I finished up with 286 miles (215 to Danville and the rest playing around town) on a surprisingly nice day.

..........What's everybody using for cameras?.....

a refurbished iPhone 5S ($150)
or sometimes about the cheapest small digital camera I could find at Target, a Sumsung ($59).

THe "real camera" that I have is one of those things that need to put film in. Havent used it, nor the multiple lenses, in over 15 years.

After a full weekend of being up in the woods in the pouring rain swapping out green lines and manifolds (Work for the GMC) it was nice to blast into work this AM.

But even with the soaking rains it was a gorgeous weekend to work up in the woods!

Very nice....remove the trunk and windshield, retake the photo and submit it to Triumph's marketing people for a future sales ad. Trunk and screen are practical for the real world, but potential buyers like the naked look Brit look. ;)

This bike sells itself...

Wow Jedz - just saw you picked up the triumph. Cool!

Weekend cruise with my buddy on his GS550. I got flagged down to pull over because he thought a bolt had come off my bike. Turned out I ran over a battery:

Sam you planning on coming up for a GSR meet this year?

Been on a few rides lately.....

This my buddy Bill...he's the general manager of my local BMW dealership. Great guy...he always dresses up as Elvis for the Victoria Day Parade...we went in it to raise awareness for the Ride To Live ride to support prostate cancer research.

Decent day!!!

It was wicked buggy!!!

Trevor, gotta ask about the Elvis costume for Victoria Day?
Cannot come up with a connection on my own.

Lol...that's not me....my buddy who's the general manager of my local BMW shop. He dresses up as Elvis for the parade every year. Kids love it!

Went out for a ride this morning after breakfast but before work started for me at 1pm. Started off to be a ho-hum route with a few good sweepers but nothing to stand out until I saw this on my left. I wasn't able to stop fast enough to get a shot from the road so these will have to do:

On the way back to the hotel with only about 40 minutes to change clothes and get to work on time I ended up running into a long and extremely slow moving train blocking the easy way. Fortunately I noticed a road that skirted off to the right and around the tracks so I made it to work on time.

Can't wait for Sunday and the ride home - assuming I can leave early enough to beat the storms but we'll see as we have fallen a bit behind on the equipment replacements
