A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I'm very interested in the 4 into 1 MAC kit. I called them today and they're pretty sure the can substitute the shorty canister muffler from the 750 kit for the megaphone muffler that comes on the 650 kit.

Has anyone used this kit? Is it a quality kit? Does it clear everything properly?

Thanks!

MACs are low quality

If it's black , the paint comes off

If it's chrome, the chrome flakes off

For other issues, try a Search

Well, either the search function sucks, or I suck at choosing phrases that work in the search function, as nothing cam up concerning Mac 4 into 1.

I have reason to believe that this is a MAC on an '82 650L. :o

I know it's not the best picture, but it kinda goes with the "rat" quality of the bike.

It came with this pipe from the previous owner, and he may have gotten it that way from his previous owner.
(The guy we got it from was not all that mechanically inclined, would not have known how to install it.)

.

I just did a search using "mac exhaust 650" and got 29 hits.

I was probably being to specific then, I was searching for "MAC 4 into 1 exhaust gs 650 gl" haha

Thanks for the replies so far though.

Steve you keeping them pipes? I got no info but if I keep the 650 for a few more years I really do need to get some new pipes. The way I look at it is a 30 year old oem goes for almost as much as a new aftermarket... so as of today what one is more likely to last 5-10 years?

Not sure the answer but if you get one let me know how it goes. Right now I got the rusted divider removed and with a soup can clamped on holding the megaphone on one side...
