Just a suggestion, and this may have been thought of before.........
I see quite a few posts, and I have the same questions too, that relate to.... "Can I use a part from model A year A on a model A year B?"
e.g. Can I use a clutch cover from an '81GS850GL on an '80GS850GL
I know this would take a bit of work, and I would help in any way I could, but I would like to see a cross reference of some sort that listed some of the parts that are interchangeable from bike to bike and year to year.
Maybe I am seeing the world through rose colored glasses 8) and expecting something that could never be completed.
Thoughts...Ideas?????
