    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Are you having a bad day?

Who knew they were making the Versys in '06?
Nice pics, Lurch.

...close, but it's actually a Ninja 650R, and about 60 lbs lighter with an extra 7hp, and a few years older, with basically the same engine. Great bike! And I saw that date on the last pic when I posted it, but checked the digi cam and it had the correct 2009 date except that one pic?????:-k

I thought you were supposed to be storing the kid's bike. How come you're sneaking out for rides all the time??

It reminds me of many many moons ago. My close buddy was away in Europe for a month or more and he left me his recently refurbed/rebuilt Triumph TR3 sportscar to watch over. I was supposed to only move it around a little bit in my driveway to keep things properly lubed and working. I was not supposed to drive it:eek:. I worked across town and as there had been some daylight break ins and vandalism in my neighbourhood, I din't feel like leaving it unprotected......so I drove it to work.....everyday. I disconnected the speedo cable so the mileage wouldn't show:o.

I never told him....its going to be one of my death bed confessions:-$

The things you do when you're young and foolish.

Just be careful with the boys toy ok.

Cheers,
spyug

OK, you caught me!:o
...but he's good with me keeping it inside out of the elements for the winter and keeping it exercised and maintained while he's away at college.
Parenting does have it's perks, as I logged some good miles on my other son's Harley while he was overseas for 3 years.:D

Ha ha.LMAO. I've always loved that movie and now I understand why. I never thought of that. Good one:cool:

Now leave that bike alone Lurch !

Having a bad weather day?

Nice ride!
We've been getting one sunny day every 2 weeks in Michigan.:( I've been working every day. Last year we had great weather through October, I skipped a lot of work days.

NH has some of the best riding roads in New England IMO. I lived in Manchester and worked in Keene for a while, loved riding back and forth. Thanks for the pic, brings back many fond memories!!

Man Steve that lil sucker looks like a blast! And, not a torture rack like most of those modern sporty bikes. Good times!

Is that Dunbarton? Sure looks like Gorham Pond Road...
