A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

can leaving the blinker on while riding kill the batter???
im new to riding and just havent used to turning off my blinker yet lol..
anyway i left it on for at least 4 miles ! came home and now it wont turn over :(

Chef's Right, A Blinker left On on a Running Bike Shouldn't Be a Problem (other than making You feel Really Old!)

Riding with a blinker on may tell motorists your planning to turn. When you go straight into their fender they will know you forgot your blinker so be sure to turn if off after your done.

i checked the voltage of the battery , its around 11v and drops to 10.5 while running. is a bike batter basically the same as a car when doing this test? needs to be over 12v to be a good battery

Clean all "ALL" your connections first...use di-electric grease on all of them when things go back together and make sure that all ground wires are clean and well grounded. Then rerun your test. You should see 12+ volts at an idle and up to 15 volts with the bike turning 5000.

Leaving your turn signal on should not hurt the battery, but it will deplete your supply of blinker fluid.

Better check that reservoir quick. 8-[

I have a question! Was the left blinker on or the right? If so reverse the polarity and it'll be fine.:-D *

I was waiting for someone to post something stupid and the pressure got to me.

Chef,

Don't foget your waders. And put the right shot in the gun.

Snipe are wading birds, not much bigger than ducks, so load accordingly. 8-[

Do they make snipe shot or do I stick with pheasant shot?
I've bagged three in one day!
Now back to your regular scheduled program.
Use bird shot. they getup quickly and you have to be ready or they will scare the hell out of you.

When I was growing up in Ohio the local joke was to take the young kids out on a snipe hunt. It was a joke. Now you give a link saying that they're for real? Am I getting punk'd again????????
:-D

Click on the word SNIPE. I know that it is often brought up as a 'fun event', so I was a bit surprised myself to find that there really is such a bird. 8-[
