    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Just about anything you could imagine for media blasting. Remember that depending on what media you use, it could be carcinogenic so be very very careful.
I would imagine once you have something like that in your own shop, you'd go blast happy and find a million things you could use in it, but really, if all you're doing is one bike, or just one set of rims, maybe call a local shop and have them throw it in with their next order. I had that done for a set of car rims and it didn't cost very much

I purchase from Eastwood sparingly. Yes, they have very nice stuff, and they price it accordingly.

If I can get a cabinet and everything I need for under $200, it'll pay for itself after one bike. I've already rebuilt 2 - this is my 3rd, and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. A blast cabinet will make life so much easier. It's really not an option at this point int time. I'm going to do something about it, I just haven't figured out which way to go yet - homemade or store bought.

Yeah, so long as you're not in a rush, there are deals to be found for just about anything you need...I definitely love the homebuilt stuff, especially when it works as well, or better than the store bought and costs a fraction, but I don't think the supers would like me running a blaster on the 6th floor of my apartment building so for now I'll have to stick to paying someone else to do it, or splitting the cost and letting my buddy store it in his shop.

Well, I live on 7.5 acres in Colorado with the nearest town (very small) being 10 miles away. My nearest neighbor is 1/4 mile and he target practices in his back yard. I can do damn near anything I want, just not legally kill that damn porcupine that is destroying some timber. He'll get his though, don't worry about that!

Sounds perfect....can I come live with you? I've never seen a porcupine in real life, just on those nature shows

We like it. We purchased 2 years ago. As a side note this house was rented by John Belushi when he was filming "Continental Divide".

We never turn visitors away. We have 4 bedrooms and plenty of space to camp if you don't like indoor plumbing.
