If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

I have always enjoyed Fat Tire from the New Belgium Brewing Company. My buddy lived in Colorado for a few years and would always bring me a treat back around the holidays. Not sure if it's available yet east of the Mississippi but its a great tasting beer. Here is a link if anyone is interested. www.newbelgium.com/beer/fat-tire

I believe that was one of the beers I sampled while visiting my brother in Colorado.

I had to be a super light drinker as my blood really didnt adjust to the altitude till we left.

I had a hard time killing that 12 pack over a long weekend.

Ha...well I have to admit I'm a recent convert to beer snobbery...after my Doc limited my beer intake last year, I educated myself and started drinking the good stuff...

A week from tomorrow I'll be heading up Fennimore way with the Nardy crew...
Hoping to have me some New Glarus while I'm there...:D

I became a beer snob after a trip to Germany with my wife. Hands down the best beer I ever tasted in my life was in Bavaria. (If you ever get a chance to try Altenmunster (Helles Lager), do it.......very tasty). Anyway, drinking good beer can be very expensive, so I started homebrewing. Good beer on the cheap, and it's fun.

My personal preference is what ever my buddies have in their refrigerator. :D

Ain't lived....

Ain't lived....

You guys ain't lived until you load the old lady and three cases of Coors cans (Not twelve packs, 24s) on the back of a GS550 and go to a party...

There are a lot of great beers right in your back yard, one of them is from the Berkshire Brewing Company (BBC) located in South Deerfield, Mass. Their "Steel Rail Extra Pale Ale" is my favorite, a very smooth brew! I also like the Paper City Brewing Company's INDIA'N PALE ALE IPA (their website calls it "a classic rendition of the Style named after another one of the owners passions, the Indian Motorcycle. The bikes were fabricated in nearby Springfield Ma and at one time rivaled Harley Davidson. Jay's collection of antique bikes can be seen in Paper City's tasting room.") PCBC is located in Holyoke, Mass. I've seen those bikes, they're really cool!!

Here are their websites (http://www.berkshirebrewingcompany.com/ and http://www.papercity.com/), you can find them in most packies and even a few local grocery stores. Cheers!!

me I'm a steam beer lover. Anchor Brewery S.F. , CA Ben franklin liked it too.

Burned out on fat tire -FT collins is a fun place

like My own beer better. red brit ale , jalapeno brew, coffee in my stout recipe.

been working on ciders for last 3 years. the trick is getting it sweet without using potassium sorbate.

Yea we have lots of micro brews local, even a place a few towns over in Southbridge thats a brew pub. Been there a few times to see my friends Blues band play, always a great combination.

Got a trip to the packie line up on my ride home tonight, think its a rum and coke night. Can get a handle and 2 - 2 liters in the sissy bar bag easy enough.

Brother passed his Network + certification test so its time to party.

Yea, I hear you on the sample thing but I set my limit LOW for a reason. Two beers on my 220lb frame is nothing, I am probably legal at a more that that and did not take the short ride into account for justifying more.
I am sure you have gotten the gist of the safety-related replies, but just wanted to point out that just because you are below the legal limit does not mean that you are not impaired. :o

You may be comfortable with the low amount you have drunk ("Two beers on my 220lb frame is nothing"), but tests have shown that mechanical skills are definitely affected when you are well below the legal limit. In fact, part of the impairment is the process of thinking you are alright.

.

Well, thought this one was buried good but while its up for a bit let me continue with the I know its not ideal thoughts.

The sampling was purely to get a taste for various beers I would normally not want to front the money to buy a 6 pack for, in the past when I have gone to these events I have planned to spend the night and hit the bars after. This was a while you are here thing and yea its part mental as well but I had options and if I couldnt ride I wouldnt.

With my group of friends I always enforce this even if they are ****ed off at me for a while. My comment about the 2 beers is just a personal rule I have established over time, its easy to have a beer at lunch and maybe that leads to a second if you make it an extra long lunch but after that its a party and you stay. If I am having a drinking night its not till beer 6 I really notice it but would never drive after 3 just cause I cant feel it.

We all have our own way to deal with such things but most of the time when I drink its 1 or 2 beers max cause I like them not cause I want to get loaded.
