    A note to old forum members...
    I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

    Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

    Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

HowwDee to all;

Hope you've been enjoying this fine weather, and riding plenty. :D

Question:

I have question relating to the sight glass on the brakes reservoir.
The round vision glass, to see the brake fluid level, is old. It has that crazed, dried-out look. I can't even tell the exact fluid level. I'm not too comfortable with that. 8O
Can you just replace the sight glass or do you have to replace the entire master cylinder reservoir ??? Is there some "repair kit" manufactured ??

Thanks for any help.

Ryan;

Thanks...that was quick.

I went to the link and it only listed Honda Reservoir Kits. Couldn't find the Suzuki application.
They do have a Suzuki Mstr Cyl rebuid kit...but not a reservoir kit.
Are they interchangeable with the Honda ? Will the Mstr Cyl Kit solve my problem with the sight glass ??

Thanks

You can make a new window, use some 1/4" plexiglass and make a small circle to fit tight into the hole. I did one, here I removed the window and pluged it with an epoxie steel-- mixed it and over filled the hole, used two small pieces of wood and a small C clamp Squeesed it all together, then sanded the outside, added a touch of paint to finish it. Clean it very good before you reinstall it
