DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

That exhaust setup would look sick.

You're planning on painting the bike silver? I love it the way it looks!
Yes, I agree with UncleMike, The black is rich. Only suggestion I would have would be to bob the front finder to conform to the back and find some mirrors that are low like the bar.
Beautiful job. It fits together really well. If you didn't know, you would think this came from the factory this way.......Brilliant!!!

Even better, lose it completely and just throw on a fork brace. Perhaps some fork gators as well.

I took it out on Sunday through the Malibu hills. I'm surprized how well it handled. I got a ton of compliments on it...since I took off the case covers that say "DOHC" and "Suzuki.....I had people asking me what it was....lol. I got a kick out of their reaction when I told them it was a zuki. After I got home I chopped the front fender and painted it black. I'll post that picture last.

That's great man. I love how quickly you put sh*t together.

Gonna pinstripe it to match?

Also.....can I get some opinions on th forks....Should I paint them silver, black, or polish them out like I did the side cases?

I'm thinking either leave as is, or polish them, but some fork gators would really set 'em off.

The fender looks great. I would strip it the same as the tank and side covers. That will tie it all together and make it look original. Only us GSers will know. Because you now have a black frt fender, and I'm assuming black calipers, I would polish the forks for a little contrast.
GREAT lookin job and like UncleMike said, man you put out..........

OK....forks are stripped of anodizing and sanded down.....time to pull out the buffing wheel and polish them! I'll take a pic of them as soon as I'm done...(about an hour).

\\:D/

As fast as this bike is going, and as skilled as you are, you should really go into customizing bikes full-time. I'd love to see what you could do with a "naked" Ninja, or a full-race blown 'Busa.

Have you seen this site:

Wouldn't really fit with where you're going with this bike, but definitely some interesting ideas.

Thanks!!.... I actually had a tricked out TL1000S....I polished the frame and swing arm...pulled the front fairing off (totally NAKED), added 8" round light, carbon fiber tank front, fender, rear fairing, Marchiani wheels, dynojet power commander, all stainless lines, modified airbox, shaved rear end, and many other little mods...By far the lightest power to weight ratio bike I have ever had!!.I wish I had a pic to show you...but my computer crashed and had to be formatted and I lost everything....I know.....I should have backed it up!.... Thats why I am taking so many pics of my other projects!

Here's one side polished up.

OK....stick a fork in it....its done!:-D ....there is a little grease on them from my hands but I'll wash her up tomorrow. I'm done for tonight.

Simply amazing. I might need to get your consultation on customizing my bike!
