As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

I purchased some cams and sprockets off ebay. The trouble is that the sprockets on my 1100 are 30 tooth units and the one I purchased is 34 tooth. This is not good. :o

My question is - does anyone know what motor uses a 34 tooth sprocket?

Steve,
About 11 or 12 years ago I had ordered a set from V&H that were listed for the 16 vavle 1100/1150 motors. I figured since they used the same cams for the 700/750s and the 1100/1150 motors the gears would be the same. Wrong, if I remember right my 700 gears were smaller than the 1100/1150. That's probably the gears you have.

Hi there!

I?m not sure about the numbers of teeths but I do know that the GSX-R engines uses larger sprockets than ours.

Do you know what cams you bought?

The cams are supposed to be Yoshi stage 1. I'm not so sure about that right now either. I need to find some specs for that cam and then check it out.

They may be gsxr sprockets if they are larger. I'll try to find out how many teeth on those. Tjanks for the replys. I was tired last night and just went to bed without doing anything about this situation.

If anyone has a GS1100 2 valve motor and ever has the valve cover off - please let me know if it has a 34 tooth cam sprocket. If it does I would be willing to sell adjustable sprockets for it cheap.
