DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Hey all. I cannot find a jet kit for my 1977-79 suzuki. I need a stage 3 as I have modified exhaust and have single air filters. Need links please.

I do not believe anyone makes them for our 8-valve 750's. The closest you'll get is to buy the MAIN JETS, PILOT JETS and raising the needle position. It all easy stuff to do, then spend lots of time tweaking it until it works for your needs. For starters, since you already have "freer" filters and exhaust I would try 115 MAIN JETS and 17.5 PILOT JETS, and raise the needle a notch (or 2), AIR screws at 1.5 turns out to start, SYNC the carbs and go from there (SYNC,SYNC,SYNC). I even turned the bottom carb screws (at your own risk!) an extra 1/4 turn out. I have a Chrome filter (tiny piece of foam), and a Vance and Hines Street Megaphone exhaust on my '78 GS750EC. This setup works very good. I get an occasional "pop" when decelerating after really giving it TONS of gas. It's not bad at all, but like I said it's an ongoing "tweak" process. I have been told by several local mechanics (auto and bike) that an occasional pop is normal when tuned for "free flowing" pipes/air and push/pulling more fuel. I went to a drag race not too long ago and I was surprised at the "bangs" that came out of a bunch of the bikes (many of which won). Try the following links for the

PILOT JETS

and MAIN JETS

Like I said, It's an ongoing process, but the bike pulls sooo much nicer. God Bless!!

Have you tried www.dynojet.com They make one for my '79 GS1000.
I also have heard of ''Factory'' jet kits.

What is drive ability

What is drive ability

I am new in the game of motorcycle rebuilding and have a 1980 1100E. I am replaceing my after market 4 into 2 exhaust and replaceing it with a 4 into 1 Vance and Hine megaphone. I am then going to re-jet the carbs with a Dyno-jet kit. I keep reading about the loss of DRIVEABILITY but do not know exactly what it means. Could some explan it to me in laymans terms and what I can expect to get from the mod. that I am preforming.

Thanks
Greg   :)

I looked and called Dynojet. No go on kit. K&N has no kit. Most folks have kits for 1980 and up or the GS1000's. I could do the main and pilot jet change recommendatin but still wanna keep looking for a kit.
