A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Carb dip in Canada?

SV,

if I'm reading your post correctly you are still looking for KleenFlo. I ended up getting a 4L jug from NAPA in Vancouver. The 4L DOES NOT come with the parts basket, though, and yes...it stinks to high heaven. Wearing gloves and a Tyvek suit didn't help either.
Seen the basket thing.Been thinking what to use.If JB Auto doesn't have or get it I'll check Napa.

i think lordco caries a parts dip as well. i can check for you tomorrow when i get to work if you like, sv.

also a friend of mine suggested boiling it in a mixture of water and vinegar.
Asked the local Lordco.Said I could only get the bigger sizes. To lazy to check or get it in?

probably too lazy to find it and order it in, cause i have it in my store haha.

victoria doesn't show any of it, but they can transfer it from my store.

it's from kleen flo and comes in a 4L can. you'll need something to put it in to do the dip, though.

line code is 177
part number is 651

tell them you were quoted 46.19

and that they can transfer it from store 69.

if they have any issues they can call me. my name is morgan.

SV: I've been exploring using an old sieve and a paint bucket for dipping. The trick is finding metal screening without any plastic coating.

Raid3N...are you a coastal GSer as well?

Thanks Morgan, they actually the guy there told me they could only get the 5 and 20 gallon sizes:rolleyes:Did go to JB here and they have it at they're warehouse.Price was a bit higher but with the attitude I got at the local Lordco store I'm not really wanting much to do with them.Company I work for has a account at JB so can get some $ off that way.

ahh that's unfortunate, but i can understand.

if you ever find yourself in coquitlam and needing parts, come to my store and mention gsr and i'll make sure you get a good deal ;D

As far as something to dip in goes, I went to my local thrift store and bought an old stainless steel pot that had it's own basket and lid. works great! Thx, Randy.
