A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

well since im going to redoing the carbs... i though i might as well rejet it ... i so far order pod filter for the bike and have stock exhaust i was wondering what jets i should get for it... gs450t... ive searched but maybe people have diffrent setup and i couldn't find just a stock gs450t with a pod filter... plz help

most people don't install pods until after upgrading their exhaust pipe from what i know so far.
I think you would be looking at stage 2 since you still have the stock exhaust, the dynojet site will give you a better idea

here is the site
http://www.dynojet.com/jetkits/index.aspx

since i don't have an exhuast u think i even have to rejet it or can i just mess around with the mixture screw

damn i didn't think the jets were that expensive... im guessing these are the top of the line one huh? is there any other brands that i could use?

Dude, a jet is a jet. If you pay 6 or 7 dollars for an original Mikuni jet, or get the OE (Aftermarket) Mikuni jets at a local dealership for 3 dollars, it will do exactly the same thing. You can even find charts online that tell you exactly what drill bits to use to drill your jets out so you don't have to keep buying new jets while you are tuning. It'll get you close to the right A/F mix and then you can go buy the right jets once and done.

So go to your local stealership with one of your current jets and tell them that you need whatever size and they'll set you up. They got a whole box of different sizes.
