A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I realize that But my point is they have big Resell value.
My last two bikes before the Suzuki were Harley's

Sure, some models, but not all models. This is the same for most manufacturers, even Harley Davidson :p

Yea I know, sold my last Harley a 2000 FLHT (Standard Bagger) 4 years ago with 116,000 miles on it for $3,500.00 it had chrome kit and big bore kit.

Also had a 85 FXR that I made a "Pro Street" type bike. Had polished El Bruto 113 motor & Baker 6 speed. A real bad ass bike and made a ton of money on it.

Got it running, blocked vacuum line at both petcock and carbs, using prime. It runs ok at 5000 rpm & up but no power below, I have to rev the **** out of it to take off. Any ideas?

I bought the carburetor rebuild kit from him and rebuild them as per his instructions I have the original set of this bike that needs rebuilt hopefully they work better.

Just weighing in on the SOHC4 Honda vs. Suzuki GS - I have a 75 CB750 I've owned for six years and love to death. In my experience, It's been harder to work on the Honda than the '80 Suzuki, because the Suzuki is more evolved (like, you can't get to the head on the CB without pulling the motor!). The Japanese figured out a lot of stuff in five years.

120 or 125 straight across I forget which but all the. Same

Ima gunna git me a accont on that thar Kawsaki form with a user name like Pa Yamaha, and tell em all house I likes me muh Yamaha better than alls those KZs cuz it gits better then 5 mile more pur tankful. And wen I cell it, Ima gunna git a a real motersickle! And FZ anythang!

I really don't see the attraction to these bikes, I just seen a really nice all original GS550l about same year as mine listed on CL for $2500 it sold but not sure for actual selling price. A Honda of that quality would go for 10 grand.

10 grand? Rolls on the floor laffing....sorry but no.
