I completely rebuilt the carbs on my 82 GS 1100 GL Z. It runs like a champ and idles well...Plenty of pick up and speed...However, when I leave the bike sitting for a week...even if I pull the choke all the way out...I have to crank and crank and crank until I can get the thing to sputter. Sometimes if I put in a little starting fluid I can get it to fire...If I have run the bike every few ,it has no issue starting...It will start right up, without using the choke, usually...I guess I have to pull the carbs again. I really cleaned those carbs, dipped them and cleaned every port, new everything in those carbs...So, I am at a loss for what to look for when I pull them and inspect them....Any suggestions?
