DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

clubman question....

So I got the clubmans and superbike bars in the mail today, and did a test fit for both. Seems I would need to get all new cables and brake lines to get the controls to fit, or at least modify the existing ones, BPIA if you ask me. The clubmans work with the existing cable lengths and seem to be quite comfortable (downward position).

I still havent tried to use the kickstarter yet with the modified positioning of the stock pegs, which I definitely will need, but with the clubman and the pegs the way the are the bike is looks much better and is way more comfortable for me than the stock bars and set up. I do think I could be alright comfort wise with the stock pegs in their original configuration. We'll have to wait till I get the gas tank painted and getting this bike fired up again so I can test these bars and the pegs out for real (and by test I mean ride, ride, ride).
If ya wanna get rid of those superbikes, lemme know. im lookin for a set :)

gerwintown, don't stress on the rearsets... fab up small plates and bolt everything up... Easy as Pie.. At 6'5" you might want them a little lower than mine

Here's mine-

Im really not sweatin them, I did more research and was already to get to work on them. I have access to a mill, drill press, etc, it would really be no problem. When I switched sides on the stockers it was because the idea came to me while I was making measurements. It seems as though Im gonna lose the kickstarter no matter what if not stock, no?

I like the idea of getting an offset kickstarter, anybody had success with that?

Thats still an idea im investigating Gerwintown. It would likely have to be made, or at least spliced together from two different bikes. I did look into the fold up peg design, and the pegs arent the problem, its the brake pedal. I have not seen any rearsets with a folding brake pedal.

I know that RageZro mentioned that Kaws used to have a stubby lil kicker available. That is also an option. So is heating the stock arm and bending an angle or two in it, but it seems to me that those are made of some cheaper metal, so i dunno how well that would go over.
