DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

So I have the bike all back together and I am so proud of myself and I get to the part that has the cut grooves in it that goes to the clutch release and I am at a loss here. What I am asking for is a picture of clutch side with just the clutch cover off of a 650e, or similar madel with the same clutch set up.

part 22

part 22

Close enough to what I am looking at. Part 22 or 21 A(can't tell) the bolt that gets caught by the other part. Should that part be a little loose with the bike in third gear? I just want to make sure that it is O.K. before I try to get the clutch cover back on.

After you get the cover on, you will need to take up the slack with the cables so that it is fully disengaged when the lever is pulled in. I always take off part#28 to make it easier to engage the gears and take out the slack.

my weld job did not hold up, junk bottom end/ anyone want to buy a 650e????

I am going to pull the engine and see what fits in it as finding a 650e engine is tough. Think a 750 or 550 will fit?

A 550 will definitely fit. And the 750 would fit with a bit of work. Did you do the welding yourself or get it done professionally?

Try a 550 bottom end with the 650 barrels and head, etc. Puts out same horse power as 750 2 valve anyway (squish head if you know what I mean).
