I'm still having problems with my clutch. I have new EBC springs to be put in and have the bevel spring washer and a few other things on order.
I tried washers on the existing HD springs and new stock springs and orienting the steels per RapidRay's advice. Rideable, but still slipping.
I really need to know how many steel plates and fibers are in an '83 GS1100E. Parts lists say 10 & 9, my bike had 10 & 10 and the dealer says 10 & 11. I'm reluctant to experiment and grind something up in my engine.
I'm using stock Suzuki parts, so If you want to pull a cover and count some plates, I'd really appreciate it.
