Hello
I've been reading on the site for awhile and finally decided to join up.
I was installing a new choke mechanism yesterday and decided to check the compression while the tank was off. This was done stone cold with the bike not having been started for several months. Throttle was held open.
The readings from left to right if you were sitting on the bike were 150, 140, 180 and 180. Would this be because there was little oil in the head until it had been cranked over a few times?
Just for the heck of it I checked the wifes scooter while cold and it read 120 lbs so I believe the high end Canadian Tire tested is working.
It's a 1983 750 Katana with 55k on it.
Thank you for any replies
