A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

One of those over priced, disassembled, POS ads had this little piece of wisdom in it, if only more of us could appreciate the lesson hidden therein: "It was a project for me over the winter and I didn't get too far."

Guys (and gals), when you post something, please open the link, right click on the picture, select "copy", then come back to your post and paste it.
Too many of these get deleted rather quickly, and virtually all of them get deleted eventually, making all these jokes USELESS.

Why not leave the punch line in the joke?

From that poor 400's ad:
"Only 150 miles since it I got it back on the road but already have my eyes on the next project."

What that REALLY means is: that after 150 miles of this sh*t, I can't stand to ride it anymore.

That thing is clean. And probably worth what he's asking. Did I miss the joke?

Nothing rare about it, except all the others have been crashed and thrashed in the last 20+ years

Certainly not the original sportbike - while I could argue for my 1981 GPz 550, certainly the GSX-R 750 of 1986 trumps a 1989 KZ 750.

The original 750 Interceptor is generally regarded as the first purpose-built sportbike. This ZXR750 certainly is clean and original. I've ridden a few and they are about the most uncomfortable ride ever. The real rare one is the RR (91?) that has the aluminum tank. I took the tank off one in the shop (empty), and it feels like the tank weighs about a pound. Seriously.

The joke is asking that much money for a 23 year old motorcycle. For $5000 (never mind $10,000), there a lot of much more modern bikes to be had.

Or, for that money, you could buy a very nice up-scale used car.

Decisions decisions. :-k

No seat and No rear suspension.
Yup, that should add at least $2,000 to the value. ;)
