    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Where does one sit on this beautiful specimen of a .....a....a...motorized two wheel contraption.:?:

Paul

It's a trials bike. You don't sit on it. It's used for slow, short and highly complex obstacle courses where you are supposed to navigate them without putting your foot down, so a lot of balance shift is required, and so you stand on the pegs the whole time you're riding it.

You get one of these guys out in the woods with one of these, and I don't think there are too many places they couldn't go with it, that being said, whats next, a motorized unicycle with a sidecar:-k

From recent Maine CL ad........... (asking $1800)

"1981 Suzuki GS 850G. Bike is a 5 speed with shaft drive. In very (near mint) condition... Hard pressed to tell bike is 31 years old. Carbs were cleaned but not as good as if done at a dealer. "

Check out this dreamer! this crazy even for BC! This guy might be smokin some BC BUD. Or as my Dad used to say "you boys been smokin that there electric lettuce?" :p

in pic 6/8 he's showing you his stash of electric lettuce:D

and as far as those 850's go, there littered all over here in Ohio for sale from $400 to $1200, if I didn't already have my hands full and my pockets empty, I'd have one.

Haha so he is... good I!:)

Not so keen on the "blue pipes" that match the original paint scheme, but that's not too bad a price for that bike.

that's a fuel injected bike; aren't they set up to run lean to meet emissions? Wouldn't that account for the blued pipes?

did anybody catch this in the title.... CUSTOM BUILT, REPLICA..
Not even original!!

"Fewer than 40 original CR77's were built. "...And this ain't one of them...

more contradictions:

I'VE NEVER STARTED IT, DOES HAVE SPARK TO THE PLUGS--IT WAS BUILT TO RUN!
Nonetheless, it doesn't run and apparently never has - relegated to be a static display.

WAS SOLD AT THE DAYTONA/JERRY WOOD AUCTION MANY YEARS AGO FOR APPROX.20K+
Then a bit farther down:
This motorcycle was sold(item # 67)@ Jerry Woods Auction in Daytona in2003@$15,000.00.
$15K is a long way from $20K+

With current bids at approx 1% of his asking price, we'll see what happens...

"NEW STEEL FRONT BRAKE CABLES, BUT DIDNT HAD THE TIME TO BLEED THE FRONT BRAKES."

Didn't have time? It probably took longer to take the cell phone picture, post it to a hosting service, write out the ad, and post it to Craig's List than it would have to bleed those brakes.
