    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

BSA Gold Star

BSA Gold Star

It wouldn't be worth $10k if it was a running unmolested original in great condition. Doesn't make much difference what he's spent or how much he sugar-coats it. With the pile-o-parts, some-assembly-required that he's got, he's got an extra zero in the price.

Which means he fits right in with this category.

Universal Fit?

Universal Fit?

Didn't list a year, make or model, so they must be universal fit?

Ahhhh, a chopper for midgets. LMAO:D
That reminds me. A few (4-5) years ago I met bwringer and another GSR member at a pub in Broadripple. For those that don't know Indy, it is the "hip" part of town where all the young people hang out to be kool. We all rode our GSs there and parked near the street to not pollute the "kool" choppers parked near the bar. Some guy rides in on a drunk scooter (one of the less than 50cc models that guys who have lost their license can ride) that had been converted into a true chopper. Extended front end, ape hangers, the whole 9 yards, with the tiny wheels and 49cc engine. Painted bright yellow. It was very tastefully done, and a hoot to look at. We just looked at each other and laughed.

There's a couple guys near where I live with the little Ruckus' (Rucki?) that I see zipping around on. They're always riding together tearing it up, looks kinda fun :p

Sweet lets build up a 50CC motor! 15% gain on a 10 hp motor is... 1.5 hp. $500 invested on exhaust and Carb (yes singular)... Good job! Money well spent...

I 've owned small 50cc scooters before and they are a blast, but never would I ever drop big money into a 50cc anything... Maybe a Chainsaw,

I feel the same way on those things. There big here in Minot too. The money some people have in those things they could have a real bike that can actually go up a hill.
