I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I think I'm gonna go ahead and buy that. The Jet has been running a bit hot in this heat wave we've been having this week. This should take care of it...

Anybody got a good line on some coolant lines, and a radiator setup for me? And I'm running low on blinker fluid...

I'm pretty sure the radiator and hoses from any '70s model Ford pickup should bolt right on

For blinker fluid, best source is probably Nickle Town Customs. I don't have the link to their website but Ichiban Moto (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC28gtkJP-bK77M5Qyc3Dn7g) uses their stuff all the time. Seems high quality.

For all those hard to find customization & maintenance products, from blinker fluid to airplane conversion kits!

Maybe we can suggest they supply after-market cooling systems parts for the GS's as well...
This place is the hidden gem I've been looking for. My shopping cart is full their stuff now. Everything from the Passenger Noise Reducer to the Pilot Wrench. Have to wait until my next paycheck to pull the trigger but can't wait to get a big performance boost from the Adjustable Power Band!!!

Not to be a kiljoy, but I sent the ebayer of the "850G coolant tank" a message stating-
"Hi, not to be a jerk but 1980 Suzuki GS850Gts were air cooled...I own one....perhaps that's from a Suzuki GT750 triple/two stroke water buffalo?"
...wonder what they'll list it as next time around...unless one of you guys snatch it up....I got spares!

Hmmm, the "get lowered T shirt" looks good...poke some fun around the lowered cruiser crowd around these parts....a fresh can of "elbow grease" can't hurt...I need a 710 cap - I could cap that pesky oil filler tube that I lost the cap too...and I'd really do the engine oil bypass kit, but my '40 block already has that {the spare '52 block is a full oiler though}
...sure they have a car to airplane conversion...but of course there's no motorcycle to plane kit...sheesh...

I wrote to him as well when I first saw it. He responded "Thanks for the info". But the auction remains unchanged.

Last year there was a clown in Indiana listing a 1982 GPZ750 on ebay, with a Buy It Now price of $2,200. He had a written description describing it as "mint", but the picture was one he had pulled off the internet of another bike. I contacted him and told him he was in violation of eBay's policies, he told me to mind my own business.

The bike was also listed on Craigslist with the same picture. With it being about an hour away, I contacted him through CL and said I wanted to look at the bike. The bike was far from "mint". Aftermarket exhaust, non oem seat cover, rusty shocks and bolts, etc.... Pretty good shape, but nowhere near mint. Hell, it couldn't be started, the carbs were gummed up. He said he knew nothing about motorcycles, that it was his uncle's bike, his uncle had died, and he was selling it for his aunt. I pointed out the discrepencies, told him he should post actual pics of the bike, and that I wasn't interested because he was asking too much for it and misled me on the condition. I did take a few pics of it before leaving.

I sent the pics to ebay notifying them of seller fraud. Two days later, the listing was "removed by seller due to discrepancy in description". He still left the original CL post up though.

It was up for a couple months or so, unchanged except for the price dropping once in a while, until it went away too.

Only $5000 per motorcycle...what a bargain!

You can barely give a non-running Voyager 1300 away, only made a couple years in limited numbers, parts are tough to come by and they are difficult to work on.

That Ninja might be worth $1,600, if it runs fine. Judging by the pipe and the fairing, I imagine it looks way rougher in person than in the pics (which isn't too hot to begin with). The LTDs? $2000-$2500 each, if currently running and in extremely good shape.

He might have $8K-$9K worth of bikes there. Might.

I like the friction-enhancing iron oxide coating adorning the brake rotors. That's some high tech stuff, right there. There's even a bunch of it on the exhaust systems.

Nice to see the Ninja is pre-crashed, and is wearing bald flat tires -- saves you the trouble of getting that first wreck out of the way, and you don't need to bother shaving tread before you head to the track.

I will testify to ALL those points. I had mine (same year as those offered here) for 5 years, ran it from 38,000 miles to about 93,000 miles. The Voyager 1300 was made for 6 years, best estimates were that there were a total of 4500 made. That is the total for all 6 years, not 4500 each year.

The drive to the water pump was rather convoluted, involving a pair of bevel gears in the process. One of the gears was made of nylon, to keep it quiet. However, nylon in a hot, oily environment turns brittle, and it lost a couple of teeth. After weeks of searching, a fellow member of the Voyager club sent me what was probably the last new gear in North America, but only because he had recently wrecked his Voyager.

Depending on just how deeply you wanted to get into the bike, the practical limit would be valve adjustment, stator replacement, oil and filter changes, spark plugs, tires and brakes. Beyond that, it's almost worth the extra money to have it done. The problem was finding a shop that could/would do it. I am fortunate enough that there is a shop about 50 miles from me that was happy to do them. The shop owner has a Voyager and there were at least 3 other customers with one.
