A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Honestly I was pretty sure so looked it up. Maj. Frank Burns of Mash. Now that was a show! Can’t resist watching whenever I come across a rerun. Seen them all many times.

Give that man a cee-gar! "Say the secret word, win $100!" A duck comes down with the secret word and a hundred dollar bill in it's bill. Before your time?

Ok. You got me. I can see the black and white images in my mind and sort of remember the at least 2 different actors who played Mr. Wilson (or am I getting confused with the 2 Dicks from Bewitched?)

There were two Mr. Wilsons. Jay North was Dennis.

"Gale Storm" was born Josephine Owaissa Cottle, and had two shows in the fifties: My Little Margie and The Gale Storm Show. After that she had a career as a singer.

I was given a package of Oreos and planted in front of the TV as a toddler. Large screen (14 inche) black & white, fine tuning, vertical and horizontal hold.

"Before your time?"

No

"Remember Gale Storm?"

Anyone who ever saw her would. The Gale Storm Show was the 1st "Love Boat"

This is confusing. It sounds like he's selling a memory.

Owned since 1964 when it was cool to chop your bike. 5" on the neck, frame lengthened 8" to accommodate set back for tranny( note long primary). Frame dropped another 5" for the seat by the post. Oil tank is old fuel- altered fuel tank. Custom gas tank. Clear title. Registered as 1986 as per engine numbers. 2 seat styles, 2 pass and solo. No lookie-lous!!!!! Talk to me by phone before we go any further. See all pics. Bike is in boxes. Frame is 53 panhead.

Guy sounds weird in the head. Could be the inspiration of a murder novel, or a mental health case study.

Not CL, but FB marketplace. No link. This is in the town next to mine. Makes me sad and angry. There are more pics but I think these two really tell enough of this sad story.

Sweet! I wonder if the fellow still has the headlight bucket and instrument cluster that came off it. Maybe a seat too! Probably wishful thinking, and I'm not going to call the guy to find out...

Norm, I’d be happy to check out any of the original parts he might have for the 1100 If you’re interested. Let me know.

Yeah, really sad. Reminds me of another sad destruction of a classic bike I saw a few years ago on ebay.
The sap bought a mint 1983 GPz750, then stripped it down into his cornball idea of a "cafe bike".
Glad I didn't download any pics.

Somebody once said something like "the reason some things are rare is because they weren't very well done" or something like that. That always sticks in my head when I see some posts touting the rarity of some piece of ahem, auto or motorcycle history that would best be forgotten.

I have a 1982 GS1100E! But mine looks a little different. I think the color on his side covers is off by a shade...

And that 250 "Honda Yamaha"? He's probably leaving a little wiggle room with his asking price. He'll probably get no more than $5,200 to $5,300.
