A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Custom Decals?

I am repainting my 1100E this year and would like to get some custom decals to work with the new paint. I would like the factory font/style/size of decals, just in non-standard colors. I see lots of people are recommending Diablo Cycle but they seem to only do OEM replacements. Who are people using these days for non-OEM decals?

Thanks,
Mark

Since decals were mainly for stock bikes and restorations, you might be better off contacting a custom painter that can stripe them by hand or airbrush them. Might need to get a set of stock decals for the pattern, then mix your color to your heart's content.

Did you ask Diablo if they could do OEM decals in different colors. I would think that would be quite easy for them.

Brian at bdesigns.com did a custom pair of lettering for the fairing on my 750EF. I'm sure he'd be glad.to run a set in a different colour for you. He didn't even charge for set up and had them to my door in less than 2 weeks.

I haven't yet, was hoping for some forum member experiences first. I will send them an email to see if they can switch things up.

That sounds great, I will contact him and see what he can do.

I've used this guy's services for my bass boat and for my truck. Iguana Grafix does great, high quality work and his turnaround time is very quick. Tell him Rudy sent you. The guy's name is Darryl Brooks.

Sandy, check the link you posted... it seems to end up on an IT site called bolderdesigns.com

Sorry. My error. Try bdesigns.ca not .com. Great guy to deal with.

And he's a Canuck! I will definitely try the local boy first and see if he can help me out. Geol, good catch on the link.
