A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

hey everyone!where would i get a set of 4 aftermarket filters for my carbs for my 1977 suzuki gs750?anybody know any good websites?and maybe cheap?

Dude, you need to do the following:

Step 1. Enter www.ebay.com into your web browser address page.
Step 2. In the search bar, enter "suzuki gs" and click go.
Step 3. Go page to page and find your carbs and pod filters.

Just poking fun, but seriously, I check E-Bay every 2 or 3 days. If there is something I like, I check it every 2-3 hours. If I am bidding on something, I check it every 2-3 minutes.

Examples of my greatest finds:

Brandy new MAC 4-2-1 exhaust header with canister- $89
90% quality 81 1100E gas tank- $110
Mint cond 81 1100E seat (still wrapped in factory packaging)- $90
Stator cover for 81 1100E- $30
Mint cond side covers for 81 1100E- $25 each

Why are you changing to pods? More power or ?
You'll have to re-jet or you'll run lean.

Oh yeah, if you're going to use the EMGO pods, DO NOT OIL THEM!!!
I recently, after washing and drying them, found out that they are not supposed to be oiled like the K&N filters.

You wouldn't believe the better throttle response and HP my bike gave after cleaning the filters. Wow.

I've been avoiding cleaning my K&N's, but hopefully I'll see better throttle response when I do.

www.usedmotorcycleparts.com

find the air filter section and look for the Emgo brand air filter pods. They're a great substitute to the expensive K&N's at $9 a piece.

I run these on my 550 with no issues, and they don't need oiling ever.
