A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Decals

I've purchased two sets from them and am very satisfied with their stuff.

I've been looking for the complete decal set for the 78-82 gs550.

I haven't found the correct ones.

http://reproductiondecals.com/defaul...tent.html~main does not have them.

Any ideas or links?

Thanks

What's wrong with pinstripe tape? I painted the tank on my old 550E and used tape from the auto parts store which turned out well. I can't post a link right now but if you go to my photobucket account, and check the GS550 album, you can see a few shots of how it turned out.

I like the design of what I have, with the 2 tapering lines of slightly different colors inside the end-caps of the pin striping.

If you don't mind sending your body parts to Reproduction Deals they will make a set for you for free so they can have the design for future use.

I'm just surprised no one has this design already. Every 550 in our group had this design, not the one that is listed from the decal shops.

Anyone looking for a set (reproductiondecals) for 1980-1982 GS750E in Red/Orange? I have 2 sets and will let one go for $80 shipped. They are Red/Orange.

I will not be able to get them for about 2 weeks though. If you are not in a rush I can save you 30%!

PM me if interested

Can you post a high resolution photograph showing the tape stripes on your bike? I'm curious how the striping on your bike differs from that on my old '79. The forum photos are too small so please upload photos to photobucket or similar and then link the code here so the photo will show up in high resolution.

Edit: think I found the design you guys are talking about. Please check out this link to see if this is correct... http://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/model/suzu/suzuki_gs550e%2078.htm
