A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

says he can't feel it go from one tire to the next and has no wiered handling characteristics. Must not as he wheelies the damn thing. I got a kick out of it so I thought I'd share. Long way to go for a joke! Let's see occ top that!

never noticed that in the pic it appears to end there. If you look at the shadow beneath the bike you can kinda see where it turns up and back. Harley guys don't seem to hung up on ground clearance. Even I took that into consideration when I built my frame but in that set it don't seem to matter much. Should be able to pull off the sidewalk without rubbing the bottom. I got something like eight inches of ground clearance a bit much for a bobber maybe but it works for me. I think johns bike has an overall rear tire width of almost twelve inches. The sprocket is in the middle, so that adds a bit.

twisty machine

twisty machine

Dare you to run that thing through some twisties!!..good grief!

Probably do some pretty stable wheelie poppers though!!:D

hell id ride it, be a nice bar hoppin bike unless it handles better then im thinkin

John's a wildman and rides the balls off this thing. Even wheelies! Obviously it would be crap on any decent (twisty) road but it's not meant to be ridden in that manner but he still does. The bike was built out of fun and for fun. It can't be any worse than any of the 300mm rear tire bikes out there!

Hey at least if he get's a rear flat he's got another one to ride home on :-)

the worlds narrowest track trike?
he can runflat on one rear!! Just has to lean out a ways like an outrigger canoe.

I don't care who ya are, that's funny right there.

I love the sprocket in the middle. We don't need no steenkeeng jackshafts. :D

Maybe he should add a third, taller tire in the middle. Then he'd get a profile that he could run through corners :) . Whatever you say about Harley people, there's always someone out there trying to be different. I respect that.

Dually

Dually

A dually chopper.....creative...maybe he could hang a set cow nuts off the back!

don't remember wether or not it had dual rear disks. as for the silly forks he built those also. They are stout, I've seen the front end off the ground and not a tweak in them. It's just a springer with the springs moved to the bottom. I have to give it to him, I couldn't engineer something like that. (could you?) I knew this wasn't for everyone when I posted it and I really don't want to start any debates over what makes a good bike. Just wanted to share a bike that I thought was neat to look at.

Have you heard what the fat tire boys think of it? Classic humor...
