A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I recently received my Dynojet stage 3 kit from a local vender and I think I have issues with it...

1) The kit is a 3315 for 80-85 Suzuki's which mine is a 78, but I was told by the parts guy it would work.... but would like a second opinion from you guys.

2) What is the Slide drill?

3) Is there a link or write up that is more detailed than the instructions that come with the kit?

Than in advance

That kit will not work. It is for CV carbs; you have VM carbs.
You do not need a kit for VM carbs, you can do it with factory parts. Take it back.

Steve that is the instructions I got with the kit, I was kinda hoping for a dumbed down version:oops:

Koolaid... can you be so kind as to provide a link or something that helps a wannabe like myself out with what parts that are needed to have carb bliss .

Basically a stock motor with pods and a 4 into 1

There is no Dyna Jet kit for your bike. Wait, which size is the bike? Wait wait, what has been done to your engine, exhaust, intake? Which jets are in it now?

tkent, he has a 78 750; I saw it over in the new owners section.

born2lose, almarconi provided you with a good instruction on how your carbs work.
This is how to dial them in, from BassCliff's web site: Plug Chop and Idle Mixture Screw Adjustment Methods

Please go up to the menu, select UserCP, and place your bike in your signature. If you have not put your location in your userCP, please put that there as well. Sometimes there is someone nearby that can lend a hand.

The kit for the VM's would be a DJ-3304 78-78 GS1000, but I have no idea how well that would work with a 750.
