A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Don Vesco Rabid Transit

That is great. So where are you in colors thought?

I'm still leaning toward VERY BLACK, maybe with a discrete pin stripe to offset it ...though I really like the bike's OEM color. I've got another set of tins I can have painted at the same time.

Here's a shot of it after mounting a set of Krauser's I had on the 750E.

Anybody got an opinion on a color?

That's going to a very sweet touring rig and with period correct parts too.

Kinda cool fairing there. How does it block the wind??
Riging position as well since the bars are a little lower?

The fairing blocks the wind very well but your head is above the windshield. I've never ridden behind a Vetter but I suspect the RT provides less coverage. It doesn't block as much as the big bar mounted units like Plexifairing but its way more stable, especially at highway speeds. I've not been able to solve a high frequency fibration in the lowers yet.

I've always run Daytona or Superbike bars on this bike, so the riding position is unchanged. I would like to find some that are lower and have more pull-back I think.

Nice, I like that much better thean the Windjammer. The Vesco looks very similar to the Hannigans, maybe even a little nicer. Are those universal fairings other than the mounts? I wonder if you were able to source one from another branmd if it could fit without too much headache. Also, what brand are your saddelbags? They look like the Krausers that I have on my BMW.

Thanks for the comment. The RT will fit a wide variety of bikes though probably not as many as the Vetter. I believe the upper fairing would fit anything but the lowers may not. I understand that the RT, Windjammer, and the Hannigan, all use a similar mount.

Yes, the bags are Krausers. Got any extra keys :D?
