If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Ebay, google??
Any 7/8 diameter bar will work. If you like em and know what they look like then you know what to look for.

What exactly do you want to know?

I put dirtbike bars on mine,, cause I already had em.

i am looking for the harley type.....the ones that have like a 6 inch riser and the bars have a slight bend. any thoughts?

Drag bars are FLAT Mike. If what you described above is what you want, you DON'T want drag bars!!! Ray.

unbolt your old bars and refit the new ones. rerouting cables and wires as necessary

what i was wondering is how do you mount the risers......isn't it different than the regular setup?

you never mentioned any risers. even so, just bolt them on and adjust to the angle that you like, making sure they clear the tank and all operations work ok

i'm not sure, but isn't the bottom clamp part of the triple tree?

yes but you can buy risers that utilise the top tree,or you can get a new top tree made up with some custom risers

I have no idea, lol. I just see then all over the place when I'm looking for stuff on ebay.:p

But you're gonna have to do as Agemax said if you wanna use those particular bars. They do make them without the built-in risers, might be worth a shot.*EDIT* Here is a pic from another thread, just do a search with the term drag bar and you'll find some good threads on the subject.
Put on my drag bars yesterday, and got caught riding in the rain for about an hour .....Oh well LOL.....dont mind the side cover shes a work in progress.....the more I look at it, Im thinking of going cafe with it......what do you think?

Yep.......thats them. those should bolt right on .......i think. i just have to make sure they are 7/8 so they fit in the clamps. thank you all very much for your help........and a special thanks to Agemax for finding them for me.:dancing:
glad to help mate, you must be able to source them in th U.S somewhere

check out this guy:

these should be universal, just check the hole dimensions/ hole to hole distance.

Honestly, I tried going with a drag bar-an EMGO bar that's straight with only 2.5" pullback, and the MC had clearance issues. That and it would probably knock into the tank, unless you get risers. First see if the master clinder has clearance, otherwise all you're doing is setting up an expensive alternative to superbike bars (which is what I switched to).
