Dyna 2000 plugs

Getting ready to install a Dyna 2000 on to my gs1000. To those that have blazed this path before me, what are you running as far as plugs and gap? Fairly stock motor otherwise. Should I run the stock plugs with a wider gap? or??..?

Stock plug and stock gap. If you have high power coils, you can widen the gap a smig.

Agreed. Stock NGK plugs and stock gap, maybe gap a titch on the open side. Actually, NGK plugs always come perfectly gapped from the factory, so I've stopped bothering with gapping. Just slap 'em in and worry about something else.

Replace 'em every 25,000 miles or so -- they're less than $2 each at any auto parts store (or around $5 at a motorcycle shoppe for the exact same plugs), so there's not much point in bothering with cleaning them. Use a bit of antiseize.

Rocket turbo super split neutron multi extra pointy laser gimmick plugs are a scam, pure and simple. They're all low-quality ill-fitting crap.
