So, the dynojet instructions say to use the supplied drill bit to drill out (open up) the air lift hole in the slide...
All the images available show this as a straight through hole... shining a light through it looks like a straight hole..
Gently clamped in a foam wrapped vise, I drill straight down...
OOPs!! The EFFIN hole is at a very slight angle!! Now I have a nice straight hole on one end, and an oblong hole at the other...
Good thing I have an extra set of carbs from the parts bike...
For anyone planning to install Dynojet kits to their carbs, beware!! pay close attention to the angle.
I've done three of the four now, including the replacement of #1. All look great. Now that I know to drill at a slight angle!!
