A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Hi tans66, :D

I just came across this yesterday from what was Toronto Cycle Salvage. They have some GS1150 parts. Goto there website and check it out.

I was told about this place as well. It's in the US, so it may be too pricy. Here's the website for the GS1150 fairing.

I know I was checking last year on the odd fairing parts from my Suzuki dealer, and I was still ableto get lower fairing parts. So you can still get parts from Suzuki.

I also know people here keep saying to check Ebay. Just do a search for GS1150.

I know there's more and I'm sure the others will line you up with other places.

Good luck and have fun. :D

Most anything is still available. From factory, from aftermarket, or from e-bay. Heck, I've got a good 1150 fairing in the garage. The rear shock is the hardest thing I've needed, but a couple of aftermarket co's still make them.

I was lucky

I was lucky

I got a custom made combination back rest/givi box/ rack that a guy on this list sold to me because his 1150 died. The thing bolts onto the grab bar perfectly and is large and strong but doesnt affect the handling or even look too bad. Who ever made it could do some serious business building for all us guys driving the good old dinosaurs. The 1150 is a big strong bike and can take lots of bolt-ons. Ask if anyone does custom metal work and they may be able to weld something from a sketch you make after measuring the bike!!!! Good Luck!

this site has windshields for the 1150ef. Looks like it would be around $150 to $200 to get one sent up here to the great white north. A suzuki dealer wanted around $300 for original if available

You can try Zero Gravity for windscreens. I got one from them last year. Unfortunately, you can't get the GS1150 model from a Canadian Dealer. You have to order it from directly from Zero Gravity.
