If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Hi,

When I bought my gs1000 all the lights worked fine, now for some reason they have stopped. I have the back indicators off ready for the new ones.

Now when i press the indicator button right... the front one comes on... but if I hook up the back indicator it goes off... some times the front left works and some times front right works.. but everytime I put the back one on it goes out.

Also I have no headlight, dash lights, or rear light.... but I do have gear indicator lights... iginiton and neutral light, and brak light.

I have tested the back lights and I have no lives... only on the indicator live when the front indicator works... but when it doesnt nothing.

Its just a bit strange that they have all gone off together, Ive checked the fuses and there all fine. could it be a problem in the switchgear on the handle bars? any help appreciated.

Sounds like something is not properly grounded with the signals. Mine did that after installing new ones until I made proper ground wires.

Would that effect the lights to ?... i wonder why i have no power going to the back light or the front ?

bad contacts in switch, dirty or corroded connectors. you should probably go through the whole wiring loom and test and clean everything.

A little more information, if you would.

You say you have a GS1000, but what year, what model?

It's important, because they have different wiring and potentially different problems, but they ALL come down to bad or wrong connections.

What bulbs are in your new rear indicators? If they are not the proper bulbs, they should come ON, but probably won't blink.

Your problem with having no live wires at the back indicates a connection problem, the "fun" is finding out where.
