Man, they are not the fastest company, but botttom line it was worth the wait. I ordered my Corbin Gunfighter saddle for my '82 GS1100E back on Jan 21. I ordered and all black smooth saddle, with black "Cobra" leather texturing in the saddle area. Corbin offered a stock burgandy option for the rear portion of the saddle, but with my bodywork now having a custon metallic deep wine color, I didn't think the seat color would match. The Corbin is of excellent quality, and as far as body fit is almost perfect. The reason I say almost, is for some reason, the rear latch bracket (that is bolted to the rear of the seat) is not exactly in the right location. I am going to have to fab a custom rear seat latch bracket that is about 3/8" longer so it will correctly engage the rear seat latch. No big deal. The seat is firm right now, but VERY comfortable, I can't wait until it breaks in, by then it should fit my a$$ like a slipper! (Corbin clearly states their seats need a "break-in" process). The seat has some awesome details such as a soft felt lining where it fits up against the fuel tank. Corbin also wraps leather around the front tongue (where it slips into the front frame bracket, to maintain a snug fit. My stock latches fit good, I did however have to "spread" the latches about 1/4" apart to fit perfect. Heres some pics of the seat if anyone is thinking of a Corbin:

BTW,
I'm sure your asking why I don't have a pic of it on my bike. I am still waiting for my tail section to be finished being clearcoated from the body shop. I have all the rest of the body work fitted up (including the vintage fairing). The seat looks stupid without the tail body work. As soon as all the bodywork is in place I will post up a pic. I can tell you the custom burgandy metallic paint I chose looks absolutely AWESOME in the sunlight!!!!!!
