    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

'FLASH'! New signals on my GS

Keith,
Did I miss it being discussed already? What if anything have you done with the rear signals?

I get the feeling there is never any one close enough to his ar$e end to see em....

...but I could be wrong about that...:-s

Shamelessly bumping this up for those wanting to change their signals. :)
Shameless nothing, I've never seen the thread and I agrree with others, they look  !!

Tasteful mod.

I don't have a close up of the rear sig's better than this.
This pic shows everything closer up. I'm not very knowledgable about computers and I've never understood why this pic is "blown up"? I though I took the pic and placed it in my website like any other pic. But it comes in handy for right side close ups. :)

Yeah. Some angles I just have to put up with me in the pic.
It can be hard to find the right time of day to take a pic too. I get reflections/glare spots unless it's overcast or late in the day.
That's why the rotors look "golden" in this pic. The late day sun does that to 'em.

You know if you weren't so meticulous in your polishing you wouldn't have these problems!:lol:

I still drool every time I see your handiwork, Keith ... I think it's a gift! I just don't have that kind of patience, although I do tend to be a perfectionist when working on any given project...

Regards,

It is blown up because of the pixel size. if you resize it to 640x480 pixels, or 800x600 pixels they will fit most screens. If you run XP you can download a small utility from MS that will allow you to right click on the file and save a resized copy of it. Here is the link.

Hmmm. Guess I had the camera on a higher resolution huh?
I could have sworn I took it at the same resolution as always. I kind of like having a pic like that though. Gives a close up for those trying to identify parts or cable routing or whatever. Thanks for the linky. :)

Thanks for the compliment. :) It IS a lot of work to keep things polished. But it's worth it.

You need to replace your stock flasher with a round automotive flasher like the one in this pic. About 4 bucks at the parts store.

would not happen to have a part number so I do not have to do the trial and error thing. The stock one is a 3 prong.

Are you sure it's a 3 prong? Mine is a 2 prong, Buss 552/536. If yours is a three prong, just take your old one with you and match it up to a Buss Flasher, standard automotive.

Got a standard 3 prong and the lights will not even shine. I can plug the OE relay in and get light but no blink action??????
